Law Guernsey LBG

This site is owned and managed by Law Guernsey LBG, which is a registered charity wholly owned and supported by the Guernsey Bar.

Law Guernsey LBG is behind the reforms to the process of becoming a Guernsey Advocate, both as regards studies and exams at the University of Caen and the Guernsey-specific exams set under the auspices of the Royal Court.  The 2019-2020 cycle was the inaugural year of those reforms, and Law Guernsey LBG is committed to continuing to develop and advance legal education in Guernsey.  The ultimate goal of Law Guernsey LBG is to create an educational system that serves the needs of the Guernsey legal community, continues to foster Guernsey's international reputation in the law, and above all preserves Guernsey's unique legal heritage.  This will be the future Institute of Law Guernsey.
